Introducing the Participants of the CEE.AI Lab 2025 〰️
We are thrilled to announce the 20 news organizations selected to take part in the first edition of the CEE.AI Lab — an intensive 9-month accelerator designed with Google News Initiative to help regional newsrooms in Central and Eastern Europe harness the potential of Artificial Intelligence in ethical, innovative, and meaningful ways.
Chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants, these diverse media outlets represent the vibrant and evolving media landscape of the region. From national broadcasters to local investigative platforms, from tech-focused outlets to legacy newspapers — all participants share one goal: to explore how AI can serve journalism, rather than replace it.
