Darka Hirna

Darka Hirna is a journalist and documentalist from Kyiv, Ukraine. Since 2015 worked for Hromadske. UA, one of the most reputable Ukrainian media,  and for UA: Public Broadcast Company. Now Darka does a YouTube channel called "Faces of Independence", dedicated to the Ukrainian struggle for independence in the XX and XXI centuries, the USSR heritage of Ukraine, and the national remembrance policy.University in New York City. She is a Grace Hopper Scholar and a two-time Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar.
