Who is Katsiaryna Shmatsina?

Katsiaryna Shmatsina is a political analyst at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies (BISS) and Rethink.CEE fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Katsiaryna regularly contributes analyses on Belarus in media, including the Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, Radio Liberty and Foreign Policy magazine. She holds a Master’s in international relations from Syracuse University, New York and a law degree from Belarusian State University.
