- What the criteria media are using to cover stories? How many girls are raped every day in Colombia? Is culture of macho in Colombia a big problem for girls? How looks sexual education in Colombia? - Nicolás tells us how and why Mutante was born and what’s mission of this project.

Who is Nicolás Vallejo?

Nicolás is the co-founder, creative director and product designer of Mutante, an experimental project in communication that combines investigative journalism, new digital narratives and digital activism to involve audiences in an exercise they have called “social conversation”: an editorial methodology where citizens and organizations can use social networks to talk, understand and act upon urgent problems of society. He currently also co-directs Mamífera, a Bogotá based cultural center where people can come together to learn and exchange tools to improve relationships with themselves, with others and with the planet. He has a past as a music journalist and touring musician (played in Katowice once!). He lives with his two black cats.
